The tourist travel between Ihe cast ami
the Pacific coast has reached enormous
proportions in the last lew years, and'
calls lor a special class of equipment. To
meet this demand ihe Pullman Co. has
issued from its shop what it technically
calls Ihe "Pullman Ordinary Sleeper."
These cars appeer similar to the regular
sleeper, being built nn thn same plan,
but nut furnished with tlieaamn elegance
They are equipped with iiislirosses,
blankets, sheets, pillows, pillow cases,
towels, cimibs, brushes, etc., requiring

ihe passenger. Each cur has a stove f. r
iiinluiii' cutlce and tea und doing "light
housekeeping," anil each section call be
tilted with an adjustable table, A uni
formed porter accompanies each cur. his
business being in make up berths, keep

the trains which are dispatched daily
