The Idoho Northern, which was
built last year a distance o( 27
miles from Natnpa, Idaho, to
Emmet, and which is allied with
Colonel Vv. II. Dewey's Poise,
Nampa dc Owyhee Railroad, will
this year be extended 63 miles
further northeastward, up the
Payette River to Garden Valley,
where tho north fork of that river
joines the mainestream. It is aim
ing for the Thunder Mountain dis
trict, where Colonel Dewey end
his associates have extensive min
ing Intends.
