Tho city council met in special session Tuesday afternoon. M. E. Isrinlc presided in absence of Mayor Liggett, with C'ouncilmeri Stewart, Wurzweilor, Iehman, Elkine, Re corder Itiggs, Marshal Harrington and City Attorney Elliott present. The object of the meeting wa to take steps to guard against the pread or introduction into the city of any contagious diseases. On motion of Councilman Hiking the matter was placed in charge of the committee on health and police and city physician. The recorder wag alno ordered to serve a copy of the ordinance on contagious diseases on all tho doctors of the city that they maybe better able to assist the authorities in keeping in se clusion all diseases of a contagious nature.
