The Northwest Live-Stock and Wool-Growers Joutnal is an East ern Oregon concern, owned by the j beep and cattlemen of Umatilla and Morrow counties. It contains leeaat half-tone illustration of beep, cattle and horses. It is thoroughly up-to-date and con tains reliable news of the live stock world. We will famish it and the Review for one year for $1.50 in advance. The senatorial situation at Salem remains about the same. Of course the Oregonian, as usual, claims that the opposition to Mr. Corbett is breaking, that Mitchell can't get enough votes to elect him. It also tells what the demo crats are going to do. Possibly, ' he knows as much about what they intend to do as they do themselves, and possibly he does net. That paper has had the McBride forces on the eve of a "bust up," ever tince the first Tote was taken. They are intact yet and will remain so, in our opinion as long as Mr. Corbett is a candidate. If he will get oat of the way, a senator can b elected, if he does not, the blockade will continue until the end of the session. ORDISASCE SO. 133.
