The clinical approach is through
com m unity self-surveys of prob­
lems and possible spheres of ac­
tion in th e fields of recreation,
housing, em ploym ent and com ­
m unity resources. The object of
the clinic is to have the com ­
m unity u n d erstan d its problem s
and to fo rm ulate a constructive
program , m aking full use of the
available organizations equipped
to give direction in easing race
tensions.

accepted th e chairm anship of th e
planning com m ittee w hich will
include rep resen tativ es from the
various groups in terested “ d ire c t­
ly and indirectly, in im proving
race relations in this area. P a m ­
phlets and o th er m aterial giving
full inform ation about th e clinic
will be d istrib u ted w ithin a few
days.
