Among the hundreds of new Negroes that have come
here to live are many who have never registered or voted.
These people cannot gue^s how to go about registering. We

There are those among the older residents who have an
idea that all the new Negroes coming here are riff-raff,
floaters and the like. Why not take this opportunity of find
ing out that there are a great many very responsible and in
telligent people among the newcomers. That ¿hey can and
will be very good neighbors and citizens if you try to make
them welcome and feel that they “belong.” There are a whole
lot of holier-than-thous among YOU that if the truth was
known, you would be no Angels in disguise. So get down off
your high horses and give your brothers and sisters a lift,

race. We have got to unite as a race and stop bickering among
ourselves in order to gain any of the many advantages that
are ours as citizens. If you cannot give but an hour of your
time, phone in your name to our office.
