EXEMPTION OF COMPETITIVE
PUBLIC BIDDING REQUIREMENTS
(Brand Name Specifi cation – Carpet Tile
for City of Keizer Civic Center Lobby)
NOTICE is hereby given that the City
Council of the City of Keizer will hold a
public hearing for the purpose of taking
comments on the City of Keizer’s draft
fi ndings for an exemption of the selection
of Shaw Contract Think Tile Colors
Achieve 86760 brand name specifi cation
materials for installation in the lobby of
the City of Keizer Civic Center from the
competitive public bidding requirements.
The hearing will be held on Monday,
February 7, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. at the Robert
L. Simon Council Chambers, Keizer Civic
Center, 930 Chemawa Road NE, Keizer,
Oregon (not a mailing address).
Copies of the draft fi ndings are available
at Keizer City Hall or by contacting the
City Recorder at 503-390-3700. Any
interested party may appear and present
comment on the proposed exemption
at the public hearing. At the conclusion
of the public hearing, the City Council
may take action to adopt the fi ndings
and approve the exemption, modify the
fi ndings and approve the exemption,
reject the exemption or continue the
public hearing to another date in the
Council’s discretion.
Anyone wishing to make comment on
this matter may provide testimony at the
hearing or submit written response to the
City Recorder no later than 5:00 p.m. on
Monday, February 7, 2022. Responses
may be mailed to Tracy L. Davis, City
Recorder, P.O. Box 21000, Keizer, Oregon
97307 or sent by email to DavisT@Keizer.
org.
The location of the hearing is accessible
to the disabled. Please contact the City
Recorder at (503) 856-3412 at least 48

He is survived by his daughter Kaitlyn,
brother Stan (Jamie), and nephews Troy,
Cory (Erika), Cody, and several great
nieces and nephews. Ty is preceded in
death by his parents.
Ty was a devoted father, loved brother
and uncle, a respected supervisor for
the United States Postal Service, and a
generous friend.
His loss will continue to be felt
throughout the lives of those he touched,
and he will forever be greatly missed.
I love you Dad...I know.
