SKPS seeking applications for district budget committee
Salem-Keizer Public Schools is seek-
ing two community members to serve
on the district budget committee. Each
appointee will serve a three-year term
ending June 30, 2024. Committee mem-
bers will review and approve budgets
for adoption by the school board during
this time.
Candidates must be registered voters
and residents of Salem-Keizer School
District 24J. A specifi c geographical
location in the district is not a legal
requirement, but the school board
prefers to maintain a representative
balance from all areas of the district.
Salem-Keizer Public Schools employ-
ees, offi cers or agents are not eligible to
apply.
Candidates will be interviewed and
appointed by the school board at the
