World Renew providing
assistance to Canyon
A team from World Renew is sched-
uled to visit Santiam Canyon over the
next few weeks to conduct commu-
nity-wide surveys to fi nd the disaster
related needs of Santiam Canyon res-
idents who were impacted by the 2020
wildfi res. This information is placed in
a database, which will be maintained by
the local Long Term Recovery Group.
Case workers can also use the informa-
tion to give assistance according to the
needs of each client.
The World Renew team will visit
Sanitam Canyon Monday, Nov. 15 to
Friday, Nov. 19. This team of profes-
sionals has been providing ministry
to survivors since 1972, with a proven
track record of success. Through their
eff orts, thousands of houses have been
rebuilt and millions of dollars have
been raised to help people in need.
World Renew is a 501(c)3 non-profi t
organization that helps communities
recover from disasters around the
world. This mission of rebuilding
comes in many forms, from work crews
on site, to teams gathering data fol-
lowing the fi re, fl ood, or other natural
disaster.
