McNary beats West
Salem in fi nal game
In their fi nal contest of the regular season, the McNary boys’ soccer team upset
West Salem by a score of 3-1 on Friday, Oct. 22.
McNary got goals from Aldair Cruz Barocio, Axel Zapien and Hudson Brunk to
secure the win.
The Celtics fi nish the season with an 8-5-1 record, good enough for a fourth place
fi nish in the Mountain Valley Conference standings.
McNary will take on South Eugene on the road in the fi rst round of the playoff s on
Saturday, Oct. 30.
