SEPTEMBER 17, 2021, KEIZERTIMES, PAGE A23 Glencoe hands McNary their first loss After starting the season with three straight wins, the McNary boys soccer team fell to unbeaten Glencoe on Tuesday, Sept. 14 by a score of 5-3 — it was the most goals McNary has surrendered since 2016. Glencoe led 2-1 at the half, but McNary tied the game up thanks to a beautiful goal from Hudson Brunk in the 53rd minute. However, Glencoe responded with three goals over an 18-minute stretch to take the commanding 5-2 lead. McNary got a late goal from Axel Zapien to make the score more respectable.
