Oregon Spirit Chorus in concert
The Oregon Spirit Chorus will present Barbershop in the Park on Sunday, Aug. 15,
from 3 to 4 p.m. at Bush's Pasture Park (Rose Garden) at 600 Mission St. in Salem.
This is a free a’cappella concert including the chorus, guest quartets and ensem-
bles. Bring your blanket, snacks and enjoy an afternoon of a cappella harmony.
This will be the Chorus' fi rst live performance in more than 16 months due to
COVID-19 restrictions.

Celtic start-up day Aug. 17
Tuesday, Aug. 17 will be Celtic Start-Up Day at McNary High School. The school
will be taking class pictures and will be handing out student IDs, as well as assigning
lockers, selling parking passes and much more.
