Sunday, July 25: Volcanoes 9 Senators 2 In his fourth appearance with the team, Jared Bell pitched eight innings and gave up only four hits and two runs while strik- ing out eight as the Volcanoes got the series win by defeating the Senators 9-2. Kevin Jordan Jr. had three RBIs and Bryan Ruby and Sam Jones each knocked in two to lead the Volcanoes off ense. A solo homer from Tanner Cantwell put the Senators up 1-0 in the bottom of the fi rst. RBI-hits by Jones and Ruby in the eighth inning extended the Salem-Keizer lead to 8-2. Caleb Johnson hit a solo homer in the top of the ninth to complete the scoring for the Volcanoes.
