Helping hands needed at county fair
Volunteers play a huge role in the
success of the Marion County Fair and
organizers are looking for more to par-
ticipate in the upcoming event.
The annual fair will take place
July 9-11, 2021, at the Oregon State
Fairgrounds in Salem.
Opportunities include helping fair
visitors, manning the information booth,
assisting with public competitions, and
more. Volunteer shifts available each day
from morning through evening hours.
For specifi c volunteer needs or to
sign-up for specifi c days and shifts,

teers will receive a parking pass, a vol-
unteer t-shirt, admission to the fair for
the day they volunteer, and an additional

ticket so they can enjoy the fair another
day as a visitor.
