Animaniacs still zany to the max on Hulu VALUES,

Yakko, Wakko and Dot return in the reboot of Animaniacs on
Hulu, along with fan favorites Pinky and Brain.
segment. It’s all very familiar,
and I mean that in the best
possible way.
It is not the exact same beast,
of course: Thanks to new writers
and a showrunner that hails
from Family Guy, it feels like the
balance between kid humor and
adult humor that the original
had may have shifted a wee bit
to the adult side in the new
episodes in order to satisfy the
now-grown fans of the ’95-’98
series. Don’t get me wrong…
the show is not adult by any
stretch of the imagination; you
can (and should) still watch it
with your kids. It’s just a tiny bit
less innocent and a little more
meta. The satire also doesn’t
seem quite as subtle as it once
was in certain places, and some
might complain about the
lampooning of certain political
fi gures and ideas (to them I
would like to point out that the
original had Bill Clinton in its
theme song).
But despite a few quirks,
there is no denying that this is
a series lovingly cut from the
same cloth as the original. There
is even an entire albums’ worth
of new songs spread across the
episodes to enjoy, although I
doubt any of them will be as
helpful as the U.S. presidents
song was to me in AP U.S.
History. This is, simply, a reboot
done right.
Animaniacs season one, as
well as the entirety of the
original series, is now available
on Hulu.

Whereas, All people shall be treated with dignity and
respect; and whereas, “All” people includes but is not
limited to the Federal and State Defi nitions of Protect-
ed Classes of people:
a. Federal defi nition – Race, color, religion, national
origin, sex, familial status, disability
b. State of Oregon additions – Source of income,
marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity; and
whereas, equity is both a process and an outcome; and
whereas, we recognize that government practices, pol-
icies, laws and regulations have historically resulted in
discrimination and disparity against people based on
any protected class listed above; and
whereas, the belief system of white supremacy is de-
fi ned as follows: “that the white race is inherently supe-
rior to other races and that white people should have
control over people of other races; the social, economic,
and political systems that collectively enable white peo-
ple to maintain power over people of other races;” and
whereas, we acknowledge that the land upon which
the people of Keizer live has historical and cultural roots
in native Tribal Nations.
Now, therefore, be it resolved by the City Council
of the City of Keizer that the City of Keizer welcomes
every person regardless of their race, color, religion,
national origin, sex, familial status, disability, source of
income, marital status, sexual orientation, or gender
identity.
Be it further resolved that the City of Keizer repu-
diates the belief system of white supremacy and con-
demns racism and is committed to the elimination of all
forms of racism everywhere it exists.
Be it further resolved that the City of Keizer affi rms
its commitment to ensure that all members of the com-
munity are free from acts that are rooted in racism, dis-
crimination, intolerance, bigotry, and hostility. We will
strive to inspire and continually pursue a culture of safe-
ty and wellbeing.
Be it further resolved that this resolution is an aspira-
tional statement and does not create any legal cause of
action or modify any existing rights.
Be it further resolved that this resolution is not a leg-
