Network of Women’s annual
giving basket project.

The Spirit Mountain Community Fund Awarded over
$699,000 to 26 non-profi t organizations in northwest
Oregon, three of which were in Marion County.
Advantage Smiles for Kids, an organization that works
to provide dental care for at risk youth in Oregon and
Idaho, received $44,000.
CAUSA Oregon, an organization that works to im-
prove the lives of Latino immigrants and their families in
Oregon, received $11,540.
Lines for Life, a 24/7 free, confi dential help line for
military members, lonely seniors, youth and those strug-
gling with drug and alcohol abuse, received $40,000.
The total donation in Marion County was $95,540.

recycle your tree
for a donation
Keizer Troop 121 will recy-
cle Christmas trees as a fund-
raiser the last weekend of De-
cember and the fi rst weekend
January.
Trees can be picked up or
dropped off Dec. 28-29 and
Jan. 4-5. Times are 9 a.m. to
4 p.m., except for Jan 5 when
times are 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
There is a suggested donation
of $10 for both pick-up and
drop off service.
A drop off location will
be established at the Keiz-
er branch of US Bank, 5110
River Road N. For those
