BLAST
Camp
support
The Keizer Police Depart-
ment is seeking donations to
support its 6th annual BLAST
Camp (Bringing Law En-
forcement And Students To-
gether) scheduled for July
16-18 at Whiteaker Middle
School.
Blast Camp is a law en-
forcement-themed day camp
offered at no cost to children
who will be entering grades
three through six the follow-
ing school year. The students
are organized into groups and
rotate through activity stations
each day. In addition to activ-
ities related to law enforce-
ment, the stations also include
activities with the Keizer Fire
District, the Oregon De-
partment of Fish & Wildlife,
Search & Rescue, Keizer ATA
Martial Arts, McNary sports
teams and more.
The Keizer Police De-
partment relies on donors to
cover many of the expenses
associated with the camp and
we are currently seeking do-
nations for this year’s camp. If
you have the ability to donate,
contact Wanda Blaylock at
503-856-3468 or blaylockw@
keizer.org.
Camp registration will
open on June 3 and will be
online only. A registration link
will be posted on the Keizer
Police Department website at
www.keizer.org/police and
registration will remain open
until the camp is full. Spaces
are limited and the camp fi lls
up quickly.
