School hosted Mountain
Valley Conference tourna-
ments earlier this week at
McNary Golf Club.
The Celtics boys’ teams
placed fourth out of eight
teams on Monday while the
girls squad placed fourth out
of seven teams on Tuesday.
Joel Dutcher led the Mc-
Nary boys by fi nishing 19-
over par by shooting a 90.
Zack Roth was the only
other Celtic golfer to shoot
under 100 as he fi nished
with a 94.
Bailey True led the Mc-
Nary girls by shooting a
102 – which was the fourth
highest score of the tourna-
ment.
Emma John also had a
solid day with a 112, as did
Juralee Stover, who shot 116.

In his fi rst meet of the season, Martin won both
the 100 meter and 200 meters races to help
the McNary boys track team defeat South
Salem 76-69.
Martin ran the 100 in 11.76 and the 200 in 24.23.
He also ran the fi rst lleg for the Celtics in their
4x100 relay victory.
