Sprague (1-6) rushed for 350
yards to win its fi rst game of the
season, 49-14, on Friday, Oct.
12 at Summit High School in
Bend.
Sophomore Ethan Bullock
led the rushing attack, fi nishing
with 219 yards and four touch-
downs, including three in the
fi rst half as the Olympians went
into halftime with a 28-7 lead.
Sprague added to its lead
in the second half with touch-
down runs by Kobe Withers
and Chris Sharp.
Quarterback Elias Polanski
completed 10 of 16 passes for
131 yards and a touchdown to
Withers at the end of the sec-
ond quarter.
Sprague’s defense held Sum-
mit (1-6) to 64 yards rushing
and 149 passing.
Landon Davis had six tackles
and a sack.
The Olympians host Moun-
tain View (4-3) on Friday, Oct.
19 at 7 p.m.

Anthony Gould caught three

Micah Pugh hauled in eight
passes for 214 yards and a
touchdown.

Turnovers got the best of the
Saxons (2-5) in a non-league
matchup at Oregon City (3-4).
After tying the game on an
18-yard touchdown pass from
Elijah Enomoto-Haole to Trey-
den Harris with 3:42 remaining
in the fi rst quarter, the Pioneers
scored three rushing touch-
downs to take a 28-7 lead into
the fourth quarter.
Enomoto-Haole and Har-
ris connected again, this time
for a 42-yard touchdown, with
9:23 remaining in the game. But
Oregon City answered with an-
other rushing touchdown.
Enomoto-Haole threw for
282 yards, two touchdowns and
two interceptions in the loss.
