High on meth, man makes himsedf at
home in stranger's breakfast nook
A man suspected of being
under the infl uence of mari-
juana and methamphetamine
made himself at home in the
residence of a stranger about
11:30 a.m. on Thursday, Sept.
27.
A woman called 9-1-1 to
report a trespasser in her yard
earlier in the day but he was
not located at the time. Keizer
Police Department Deputy
Chief Jeff Kuhns was sum-
moned back to the residence
when the man returned and
entered the home in the 800
block of Chemawa Road
North.
Kuhns made contact with
the suspect while sitting at a
breakfast bar in the home.
Both occupants denied
knowing the man who had
entered and Kuhns said the
suspect “was speaking rapidly
and was sweating and was ob-
viously under the infl uence
of a stimulant. He admitted
to smoking marijuana [that]
morning and using metham-
phetamine” the night before.
The residents did not
press charges, but the suspect,
identifi ed as Timmothy Scott
Lowell, 32, was arrested and
detained for violation of his
probation.
Lowell, who has no perma-
nent address, was transported
to the Marion County Jail.
