Man resists arrest after single-car crash
A man with a .13 blood-
alcohol level resisted arrest
after crashing into a tree in
the 5100 block of Verda Lane
Northeast.
Keizer police offi cers re-
sponded to a report of a sin-
gle-vehicle crash about 11
p.m. on Saturday, April 14. The
sole occupant of the vehicle
fl ed on foot and was located
nearby.
He failed to comply with
offi cer commands and a brief
struggle ended with him in
custody.
Donovan Lee Anderson,
25, was taken to the Marion
County Correctional Facil-
ity and charged with driving
under the infl uence of intoxi-
cants, failure to perform the
duties of a driver when prop-
erty is damaged and resisting
arrest. Anderson also had two
outstanding warrants for fail-
ure to appear in court from
Salem Municipal Court.
BURGLARY ON
PARKLAWN COURT
Keizer police responded to
a report of a residential bur-
glary in the 1000 block of
Parklawn Court about 11 p.m.
Wednesday, April 11.
The suspect or suspects
gained entry through a win-
dow and the homeowner
reported a bicycle, personal
banking information elec-
tronics and jewelry were all
stolen.
The burglary is believed
to have occurred sometime
between 11:30 a.m. and 5:30
p.m.
BURGLARY AT RIVER
ROAD LAUNDROMAT
A vending machine and
utility door were broken and
several tools stolen from the
Wash & Dry Coin Laundry
on Sunday, April 15.
The burglary is suspected
to have occurred between 10
p.m. and midnight. Damages
exceeded $1,000.
Police are continuing to in-
vestigate.
