Juralee Stover shot 109 to lead the Lady Celts and fi nish 10th overall. Alexandria Ronning card- ed a 110 and Hannah Elliot shot 112. Katy Wyatt and Emma John both shot 118 for McNary. Sprague won the tourna- ment with a score of 372. Blanchet/Salem Academy took second with 426. Taft shot 441 for third and Mc- Nary fi nished fourth with 449. The Lady Celts fi nished ahead of both West Salem and South Salem. McNary is coached by Brad Lomax, who is in his fourth year at the school as a business teacher and assistant football coach. The Lady Celts will com- pete in fi ve league matches this season before the district tournament on April 30 at Trysting Tree Golf Club in Corvallis. If a younger kid comes in and takes your spot, that’s what it is. I think it helps be- cause the girls want to com- pete and they want to work hard and they want to drive each other and have success on and off the fi eld. “The only things we know for sure are Faith pitching and Courtney catching. Hal- ey Ebner is probably going to be at fi rst again and Nadia at center.
