DEVELOPMENT CODE
TEXT AMENDMENT CASE
NO. 2017-01
PURPOSE OF HEARING:
The City Council will hold a
public hearing to consider
proposed revisions to amend
Section 2.107 (Mixed Use),
Section 2.109 (Commercial
Retail),
Section
2.112
(Commercial
General),
Section 2.113 (Industrial
Business Park), Section 2.114
(General Industrial), Section
2.116 (Public), and Section
2.119 (General Employment)
to allow a Mobile Food
Vendor as a Special Permitted
Use. In addition, Section
2.434 (Mobile Food Vendors)
is being modifi ed to clarify
the requirements governing
mobile food vendors. The
City Council will also receive
comments
and
discuss
regulations relating to a
proposed mobile food vendor
permit process.
LAND USE DECISION
CRITERIA: The criteria upon
which the decision on this
matter is to be considered
can be found in Section 3.111
(Text Amendments) of the
Keizer Development Code.

NOTICE is hereby given
that the City Council of the
City of Keizer will hold a
public hearing to receive
comments on the Housing
and Community Development
Strategic Plan for the Cities of
Keizer and Salem.
The hearing will be held
during the City Council
Meeting on Monday, June
19, 2017, at 7:00 p.m. in the
Council Chambers at Keizer
Civic Center, 930 Chemawa
Road NE, Keizer, OR 97303.
The
Housing
and
Community
Development
Strategic Plan is required of the
City of Keizer and the Salem/
Keizer Housing Consortium
to receive funds from the
Department of Housing and
Urban
Development
for
activities related to housing
and community development.
The plan’s fi ve year
strategy sets priorities for
assistance to low-income
persons and families having
housing needs including low
income homebuyers, low
income renters, homeless
persons, and persons with
special needs. The activities
envisioned to assist the above
groups include assistance in
acquisition, fi nancing, and
rental assistance.
Copies of the plans are
available for review at Keizer
City Hall, 930 Chemawa Road
NE, Keizer during regular
business hours.
Anyone wishing to make
comments on these matters
may provide testimony at
the hearing or submit written
response to the City Recorder.
