CITY OF KEIZER
PUBLIC NOTICE
NOTICE OF BUDGET
COMMITTEE MEETING
A public meeting of the
Budget Committee for the
City of Keizer, Marion County,
State of Oregon, will be held
on Tuesday May 2nd, 2017 at
6:00 p.m. to begin discussing
the City Budget for the fi scal
year July 1, 2017 to June 30,
2018. The meeting will be
held at Keizer Civic Center,
930 Chemawa Road, Keizer
Oregon.
The purpose of this meeting
is for the presentation of
the manager recommended
budget and the Budget
Committee to receive the
budget message. The meeting
will also include discussion
on the proposed uses of
State Revenue Sharing funds.
Input from the public will be
taken on the above date and
at subsequent meetings on
Thursday, May 4th, 2017
at 6:00 p.m. and Tuesday,
May 9th, 2017 at 6:00 p.m.
An additional meeting is
scheduled for Tuesday, May
16th, 2017 at 6:00 p.m., if
necessary. These meeting will
be held at Keizer Civic Center.
A copy of the budget
document may be inspected
or obtained beginning Friday,
April 28, 2017 at Keizer Civic
Center between the hours
of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
– Monday through Friday.
The document will also be
available on the City’s website
– www.keizer.org
These meetings are public
meetings where deliberation
of the Budget Committee
will take place. All interested
persons are encouraged to
participate in the meeting
to discuss the proposed
programs with the Budget
Committee. This location is
accessible to the disabled.
