the Salem-Keizer school’s STEP program are hosting their 27th
annual Children’s Christmas Party.
The party will be held at the Salem Evangelical Church, 455
Locust Street N.E., on Dec. 10.
Events at the party will include gifts, lunch, crafts, giving store
and a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus. The event is funded com-

The STEP program provides educational support that aids
students without a home, or in transition, to achieve academic
success. They offer services such as transportation, school sup-
plies, access to academic support, and referrals to community
resources.
The Salem Association of Realtors Community Fund was es-
tablished as a charitable organization with goals of breaking the
cycle of homelessness and provide opportunities for affordable
housing, to serve disadvantaged children and families in crisis,
and to contribute to the livability of the community and build
a sense of pride neighborhoods. All of the proceeds go back to
the local community.
