“I’m extremely optimistic,” he said. “Our
word for the year is ‘believe.’ We believe we
can go out there and we have every chance to
win conference as any other team does. We
anticipate to make a run but our aspirations
are set on not just going to playoffs but
going with the expectation of winning. We
want to go in thinking we’re going to win
the fi rst game, not jut make the playoffs and
we’re done, and then just take it game by
game. We know we can compete.”
