It was Back to School night on Thursday, Aug. 18, as the
Keizer Heritage Center marked the centennial of the building
which started as a Keizer School.
The Keizer Heritage Museum, the Keizer Community Li-
brary and the Keizer Art Association and its Enid Joy Mount
Gallery each had events.
Attendees received a report card that was ‘graded’ by groups
throughtout the building. Completed cards were entered in a
drawing for prizes.
The final celebration of the building’s centennial will be
held on Saturday, Nov. 12, with an all-class reunion.
Other upcoming Keizer Heritage Center events include a
Halloween open house on Thursday, Oct. 20, and a Christmas
celebration on Dec. 15.
The Keizer Heritage Center is located at 980 Chemawa
Rd. NE.
