“This year’s RAMP honor-
ees have shown their commit-
ment to students and the school
counseling profession,” said Jill
Cook, ASCA assistant director
and RAMP coordinator. “This
designation distinguishes these
schools and encourages school
counselors nationwide to con-
tinue to strive for excellence.”
RAMP applications are re-
viewed annually by a panel of
school counseling profession-
als who assess counseling pro-
grams in 12 areas of program
expertise, Cook said.

New Orleans.
The school will receive the
Recognized ASCA Model
Program (RAMP) designation
at the annual conference of
the American School Coun-
selor Association. It is the fi rst
middle school in Oregon to
receive the honor.
“It was one of those deals
with a vigorous application
process,” Principal Rob Scho-
epper noted. “It’s a great honor
for Claggett Creek, the school
district and Keizer.”
