The “Christmas in the Kitchen” display started Nov. 20 and runs through the end of the year. The Keizer Heri- tage Center is located at 980 Chemawa Road NE, next to the Keizer Civic Center. This display is the personal collection of Keizer’s Yvonne Knoll and contains many of her favorite items. Items date back to her fi rst collection purchase in 1968, which was a Bird’s Eye Maple rolling pin. She started her collection because her husband was a veterinarian and Yvonne be- came great friends with his secretary. They started en- joying weekly outings and visiting the local antique stops. Her collection grew into a passion founded on the memories of these good times. Santa choppered into Vol- canoes Stadium Saturday, Nov. 28, to visit with all the good boys and girls Submitted A few of the rolling pins on display as part of the new collection at the Keizer Heritage Museum. Information is available by calling JoAnne Beilke at 503- 393-9660 or by e-mailing info@keizerheritage.org. Ad- mission is free, but donations are accepted.
