Howald The MEN all-male music camp turned out more than 350 students from across the Salem-Keizer School District Saturday, Oct. 17. Keizer gets 5 Apple noms Twenty-nine local educators have been nominated for a Crystal Apple Award, an an- nual honor celebrating education excellence in Salem-Keizer. The 2015 list of nominees includes teach- ers, coaches, instructional assistants, offi ce managers and administrators – all the profes- sionals who help make a difference in the lives of students. Keizer area nominees include: Holly Rush- ton, a library media assistant at Clear Lake Elementary School; Terra Shiffer, a teacher at Claggett Creek Middle School; Susanne Ste- fani, an instructional coach at McNary High School; Heather Sweigart, a Keizer resident and an instructional assistant at Myers El- ementary School, and Kevin Wise, a teacher at McNary High School.
