Blue Day
Aug. 22
McNary High School’s an-
nual Blue Day celebration,
scheduled Saturday, Aug. 22,
promises to be the school’s
biggest yet.
In addition to a planned
ribbon cutting for the school’s
new artifi cial turf fi eld, scrim-
mages by McNary area foot-
ball teams, the high school
soccer and lacrosse teams as
well as demonstrations by
the band and color guard are
slated.
The fun kicks off at 10 a.m.
and is expected to wrap up
by 2 p.m. A community BBQ
will feature a hamburger or
hot dog, chips, salad, dessert
and water or lemonade for $4.
The Dodge Gridiron Chal-
lenge will be on-site to help
raise funds up to $5,000 for the
turf project. All eligible driv-
ers 18 and older will be able
to test drive a Dodge of their
choice around a short course
in the parking lot, no strings
attached, and the school will
receive $20.
The ribbon cutting is
scheduled for noon.

Salem Hospital. Kaden was 4
pounds 15 ounces. Cole was 5

ents are Les and Cathi Hunter

15, 2015 at Salem Hospital.
The baby girl was 8 pounds 8

was born on July 22, 2015
at Salem Hospital. The baby
girl was 8 pounds 8 ounces.
The parents are John and An-
gie Clemens of Keizer. The
grandparents are Bob and
Marlene Foster of Keizer and
Tharon Clemens of Keizer.
• Titus Jeremy Lu-Logan
was born on July 24, 2015 at
Salem Hospital. The baby
boy was 7 pounds 5 ounces.
The parents are Michael Lo-
gan- Turner and Melissa Lu of
Keizer.
