The 47th Annual Great Oregon Steam-Up continues
Aug. 5 and 6 at Powerland Heritage Park in Brooks.
Last week, the showcase of machinery small and large
drew a steady stream of attendees. The Steam-Up includes
trains, trolleys, farm machines and a steam-powered saw-
mill. In addition to special activities like a quilt show, swap
meet, and a youth passport program, Powerland features
12 heritage museums with exhibits ranging from cars to
construction equipment.
Daily admission is $12 per person for those 12 and old-
er. Weekend passes are available for $20. Trolley rides range
from $3 to $5. Gates open at 7 a.m. and close at 6 p.m.
