Walking for hope

Union Gospel Mission’s fi fth annual Walk for Hope drew more than 400 participants on Saturday,
June 20. The four mile route ended at Simonka Place in Keizer where walkers were greeted with
live music, food and water. The event raised more than $37,000 for summer meals and care for
the Mission and Simonka Place. Some of the fi rst to cross the fi nish line were (from left): Jandi
