The bride is the second oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. B. Boedigheimer. of Stay ton' is a highly accomplished young lady and is very popular among the younger set. The groom is one of the pros perous farmers of this section and is held in high esteem by a large circle of friends. In the evening the happy event was celebrated with a dance in C. O. F. Hall at Sublimity at which one of the largest crowds that ever attended a like cele bration. was present. Many useful and pretty pres ents were presented to the hap py couple. Mr. and Mrs. Cries will b ea t home to their many friends next week on thé groom’s farm near Sublimity. The ‘Mail’ joins with their large circle of friends in wishing them happiness and prosperity. ROLLER RINK FOR SALEM Otto Klett of Salem Is erecting a roller skating at the old ball park Otto will have the place open by the holidays. It will be the largest rink in section of the country and will accommodate a large number of skaters. The floor will be of hard maple and every convenience possible will be provided for the public. VVatch for opening announcement. In about three weeks S.ayton will witness one of the best literary en tertainments and musical shows ev er staged throughout this section of the country. By the way soliciting committees report on season ticket sales It promised to be creating a great deal of enthusiasm among the people of Stayton and Vicinity. The fore part of next week the committee will finish up soliciting the town and country surrounding with a limited supply of season reserve tickets for the four performances. There will also be tickets left at Beaucamp's drug store for sale. If you are one that has not purchased your season ticket you can obtain samg *1 Beaucamp's drug store or from the committee in charge. The high school student body can consider themselves fortunate In se curing this troupe of players as they have met with success wherever they performed. It also gives them a chance to diminish the Gym debt to a considerable low margin. The exact date and program will be published later. Volney Lawrence Gates died at the Mill City hospital Tuesday even ing at ten o’clock, at the age of 2 t years, 10 months and 22 day*. On July 2nd. while working fo r the Goolh Lumber Company, he re- relved injuries to one of his legs whlr^ confined him to the hospital 84 days. He recovered sufficiently so as to be brought home where he remain ed for about six weeks and It was thought that his leg would get walL Later complications set in r r d It was deemed for the best to ampu tate and the operation was perform ed at Mill City hospital Monday at this week.
