The Stayton basket ball team
smothered the Mill City team in
their game at the gymnasium
last Friday evening, The score
being 46 to 4 in favor of the
local team.
The high school
and its friends can well be proud
of their team as they have won
all three of the contests they
have participated in and with
such scores as left no doubt as
to the superiority of the team
over their opponents. One fea
ture worthy of note was the pa
rade of the high school students
through the town in the after
noon proceeding the game. Not
i only the parade but the unity of
spirit manifested was commented
on as being the best and most
