Fruit trees are beginning to blossom, wild strawberries are in blossom. Some of the fields in the valley will have to lie idle on account of the scarcity of feed. Mrs. C. J. Strom, of Silverton, is visiting her mother, Mrs. Woodworth, this week. Mr. Floyd Monroe and family passed through Lyons this week enroute to Silverton, where Mr. Monroe expects to get work. Lyons high school went to Mill City. Mill City beat, fseore 4 to 6. Mr. and Mrs. Weitman Sun- dayed in Lyons. Ht. Pleasant Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Brand made a business trip to Stayton Monday.
