Mr.S.H.Heltzei addressed the
H. S. Friday afternoon, on the
subject of “ Opportunities o f the
Legal Profession.”
Mr.Heltzel
began his remarks b y stating
that he was glad to talk to the
student body and trusted that
his remarks would be of some
value to each one.
Mr.Heltzel said that a t one
time he believed that environ
ment and very little to do with
one’s career, that every person
should be the master of his own
destiny, but his* experiences of
the past few years had taught
him thut they were a mighty
factory.
He brought home to
his listeners in an emphatic way
the vital importance o f always
living, if possible, in surround
ings o f culture and refinement.
H e pointed out clearly that
there were plenty o f opportuni-
ties in the legal profession for
the young man who was willing
to make the necessary personal
sacrifices.
Perhaps the most important
point presented by Mr. Heltzel
was the great need of the stu
dent o f early finding himself.
A great many people are failures
because they have never found
their real work.
He told the
students to investigate the vari
ous professions and businesses,
analyze their own abilities and
the select the one that appeals
