Women are not required to secure a license to hunt or fish, although they are subject to the limits established by law. Civil war veterans may secure their license free upon proof o f service. A resident hunters license costs $1 a year and a non-resident, $10. Resident or non-resident anglers license costs $1 a year. For Chinese pheasants, native pheas ants and grouse, the bag limit is five for one day, including one female China pheasant, and ten in any seven conse cutive days, including two female Chi nese pheasants. A violation o f this law is punishable by a fine o f not ie8g than $2fi and a civil liability o f $2 for each game bird. Those are unlawful: To hunt at night.
