Shelton, who died last Satur­ day in the Salem hospital, was born in the Jordan Valley, and with the excep­ tion o f twenty yeara o f hia life spent in Gilliam county, lived in that place. He waa about 68 years o f age and ia survived by a wife and three children. The children are: Bryant Shelton o f Portland, Mrs. Pearl Jarvts o f The Dalles a n d another daughter, Mrs. C. C. Cook o f Portland. He ia also survived by his mother, Mrs. Evaline Shelton and two sisters, Mrs. Henry Phillips o f Jordan, and Mrs. Mary Privet o f Washington. A. J.
