OBITUARY Henry Shank, waa born in 1853 in a small town in Ohio and died at his home on a farm near Mt. Pleasant, Linn County, Oregon on Thursday, Jan uary 14, a fter an illness that had lasted a long time. Mr. Shank came to Oregon in the early eighties, and had lived in the above county from that time until his death. He waa a highly respected man and a friend to everyone. A large crowd waa in attendance at the funeral, which waa held on January 16, at the Mt. Pleasant church. The interment was in t h e Mt. Pleasant cem etery near by. Rev. Blair o f A l bany officiated. Besides the widow, Mrs. Roxana Shank, the deceased leaves seven child ren, Harry, Grace, Crystal, Bessie, Verna, Roxie and Melvin, all o f whom are at home.
