ON TUESDAY NIGHT
A small but extremely vigorous fire
started in the woodshed at the Glover
home o n Tuesday evening about 8
o ’clock. A load o f excelsior wood to­
gether with a bale o f excelaior had
been unloaded there, and * Miss Uae
Glover had been out some time before
and had lit a wisp o f the inflammable
stuff to enable her to get an armful o f
wood, it is supposed that a spark from
her improvised torch had fallen in the
wood unnoticed by her.
About two hours later on looking out
o f the house Rae discovered that the
whole interior o f the shed was a mass
o f seething flames.
Immediately she
gave the alarm to the neighbors, and

fire fighting the flames were subdued.
