MULKEY IS LAID TO REST 8t&yton Woman Lives Only a Week After Marriage to Well Known Local business Man. The funeral of Mrs. C. C. Mulkey, who died at Salem on April 13th, was held from the M. E. church in this city on April 14th, In the presence of a number of sorrowing friends. Ethel Pearl Llnnville was born in Currry county, March 27th, 1884, and was married to C. C. Mulkey on April 4, at Salem, Rev. D. Erret officiating. She had not been well for tome time and was taken to the hospital almost immediately after the marriage, and 1 died there of pneumonis, on April 18. Deceased is survived by three children from a former marriage and by her parents, who live at Aumaville, and by a sister, Mrs. Pansy Hadden, at Lyons and a brother, Earl Linnville at Cottage Grove. Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Willing and daughter Helen who have been visiting his mother made a stay at his ranch, returned to Cleveland, Ohio, April 25th D. 1. Caldwell left Monday for Bay City, where he has property and may decide to locate. Mr. Caldwell has gone to Idaho, for a visit with relatives. Mrs. H. L.
