Redmond High to perform ‘Little Women’

The Redmond High Theatre
Company is performing “Little
Women,” based on the novel by
Louisa May Alcott and adapted
by Kevin Cunningham.
Show times 7:30 p.m. at Red-
mond High from Nov. 4-5 and
Nov. 10-12, with a matinee fea-
turing the understudy cast at
2 p.m. on Nov. 12.
The play follows the four sis-
ters of the March family, who
live in Concord, Mass. with
their mother, Marmee, while
their father is on the Civil War
battlefield. Filled with adven-
ture, heartbreak and a sense
of hope. The struggle of these
“Little Women” to find their
own voices mirrors the growing
pains of a young America.
The script by Kevin Cun-
ningham provides the blueprint
for a traditional retelling. A
framing device of readers from
different eras, added by RHS
Theatre Director Hilda Beltran,
