Spokesman file REDMOND SCHOOL DISTRICT The Redmond School District serves Redmond, Terre- bonne, Tumalo, Eagle Crest, Alfalfa and Crooked River Ranch. The school district operates one early learning center, seven 1-5 elementary schools, two middle schools and two comprehensive high schools. The district’s pre- school and kindergarten classes are held at Redmond Early Learning Center. The school district also offers a K-12 online school program, which uses local learning coaches and academic mentors. Redmond High School is home to a Marine Corps JROTC program and offers extensive vocational and technical classes, many of which simultaneously earn college credit through Central Oregon Community College. REDMOND PROFICIENCY ACADEMY An accredited public charter school for grades 6-12, RPA provides a more self-designed course of study or more 34 challenging college preparatory curriculum with a flexible schedule. The school operates as part of the Redmond School District but with a separate board and administra- tion. Grades 9-12 and a performing arts theater are located in its downtown campus.
