Meet Vegas!
After being found as a stray, this kind pup let us know she is ready for a for-
ever home to live the rest of her doggy life.
Vegas still has puppy energy that would thrive with an owner that has time
to continue helping Vegas flourish. She is a sweet and happy girl but she can
be timid at times.
Vegas is affectionate and silly. She loves belly rubs and being with people.
Vegas has previously lived with other dogs but a meet-and-greet with other
dogs in the home is required.
Because we don’t have information on her previous home, we will update
about Vegas as she spends time here at BrightSide.

Johnny’s Greek
Type of food: Gyros, Greek cuisine
About the cart: Johnny’s Supreme Street
Greek Gyros sits on the corner of NW Sev-
enth St. and NW Greenwood Ave. on the patio of Otto’s Landing. The venue
features indoor and outdoor seating, allowing patrons to enjoy their food out-
side or in the sports bar. The cart doesn’t have a card reader set up, so custom-
ers must pay with cash or Venmo. Employee Johnny Roberts said the cart’s
food includes house-made tzatziki sauce with cucumber and baklavas, which
cart employees also make from scratch.
Your first order should be: Roberts recommended the super gyro or the
Mediterranean chicken wrap for first-time customers. He said the veggie gyro
is a great go-to option for local vegetarians.
Fun fact: Mehas grew up around the restaurant business and has worked
in it for 22 years. He got his start in Bend and recently opened up his truck in
Redmond. Mehas said he likes the local, community feel of Redmond better
than the more touristy culture of Bend.
