Mias Mock wil leave In a short time. 109 CARS OF BERRIES The strawberry shipping season has come to a close in the Hood R iv ­ er Valley and the records of the Ap­ ple Growers' Association show that 109 car loads have left Hood River thla season, which Is the largest number of cars that have ever been shipped from that point. The berry crop was of extra fine quality this season and the crop wa* heavy. The Hood River berry had a clear mar­ ket in the middle west states during the season, which has insured a good price. Twelv e cars o f cherries were ship­ ped from Hood River thi* year which Is also the largest tonnage of cher­ ries ever shipped out. One firm in Chicago purchased six cars o f Hood River fruit.
