The ladies made a comfort, after which a business meeting was held. This meeting was opened with a scripture reading by Mrs. Myers followed by prayer by Mrs. Tinsley. It was voted to make the organization more widely felt in its influence and to meet once each month. The following officers were elected for the ensuing year: President Mrs. Tinsley; vice president. Miss Jones; secretary, Mrs. Lan des; treasurer. Mrs. Muma. The following committee was appoint ed to visit Baptists and those wishing to work with them: Mrs. McCabe. Mrs. Benton, Mrs. Gates. Cal., by its deputy H. F. IVSouza, will institute a lodge here within the next two or three weeks.
