Frank Paul went to Redmond
last Saturday on business.
John Wilt o f this place, left
last week for different points in
the Willamette Valley, and ex
pects to be gone about six weeks.
George McFarlane and family
were in Redmond Monday. Mr.
McFarlane was looking after his
property interests there.
Wilson & Berry have taken
charge o f the Pole Creek mill and
will soon have the plant in oper

E. C. Hankel has moved on to
the Alex Thompson ranch which
was recently bought by L. E.
Smith of Redmond. Mr. Hankel
is a practical man and under

The city has grown to
such proportions that a public
place of the above character is
now an absolute necessity, and
