To get American coins oat once and fo r a ll, a new Canadian coin age of nickel has been proposed. Some o f the advocates o f this sug gestion have even urged nickel quarters. Judging from Canadi an papers this is going too fa r to meet the approval o f business men who, while adm itting the conven- tence of nickels for small coins, be lieve th at the difference in in trin sic value between the two metals most lim it its usage in cubains money. Canadians fear the general em ployaient of nickel would have a debasing effort on the whole cur rency.
