W. Chilson. Thia pow-wow was held in the interests of the Victory loan, in which all scouts will take an active part. Aa a volunteer organi zation, the scouts have done more than any other in getting subscrip tions in the government drives. This may be the more readily understood when it is realized that there are half a million scouts in the country. Troop 32 is planning to go on a hike to the Clackamas next Saturday, and its general plans include a baseball team. The scouts of this troop arc rapidly passing .the tenderfoot tests and so are getting their suits. They are counting on having a second- class scout troop before the summer is over.
